Street Deluxe compared to other WIFA models. Street Deluxe is made of durable, firm NUBUK leather with a velvet look. Both models are suitable for track and dance, but also for the first park skating tricks.

SIZE CHARTS
What size and width do I need?
The roller skates are made in the standard width "C" (wide, comfortable fit). It is not uncommon for WIFA shoes to be smaller than regular street shoes. They are cut large.
The skaters' feet are the most important reference we work with when fitting. The insole sizes which is ready to print can be found in the Foot Size Meter. To avoid errors due to transmission distortions, we strongly recommend that you measure the length of the insoles again after printing the A4 sheets!
The insoles are very helpful when determining the size, as you can visualize how much toe space you really need. If you have a wide foot at the front (eg Roman foot shape), you need more toe space, as the WIFA shoes are a bit narrower at the toe cap. But if you have narrower feet and a Greek or Egyptian foot shape, there should be less toe space at the front so that the shoe fits well. To be on the safe side, however, you should not go below 4 mm of toe space - unless you can try the shoes on in a store.
If you want to take a STREET Suede, you will need less toe space than with STREET Deluxe & STREET XTREME, as the suede is softer and more elastic than nubuck leather and therefore adapts better to the shape of your foot.
The following rule of thumb applies:
With Street Deluxe & Xtreme - skaters usually take the same size as the shoe size if they have wide feet, otherwise half a size smaller. With STREET Suede, it is half or even a whole size smaller.
Foot Size Meter
Determine your size with our Foot Size Meter / insole printable in PDF format! Your foot is the reference Your foot is the most important reference we work with. You can print out the insoles here. Please measure the insoles shortly after printing the A4 sheet to be on the safe side due to possible transmission distortions. The insoles are just the basis of the shoe - with which you can easily determine the size. Depending on the shape and width of your foot, you decide how much toe space you need. In the technical guide (page 4) you can find out what shape your foot is.
If you have wide feet at the front (Roman foot shape), there should be more toe space (on average +-1 cm). If you have narrower feet, you should still add at least 5mm of comfort, as your feet need a little more air in summer. The ball of the foot can be wider; the softer leather on roller skates stretches and adapts to the shape of the foot. The shoe cap is slightly reinforced and therefore not very stretchy. If you place your foot on the measurement sheet, the ball of your foot may overlap while standing. This is nothing unusual since the insole is only the base of the shoe's tread.

Model Recommendations
Which models should you START with?
Do you want to have maximum fun learning dance steps (jam skating), incorporate small jumps into your choreography and try a bit of park skating (just the absolute basics)? Or do you just want to cruise through the countryside or city? The best choice for this can be the STREET SUEDE or the STREET DELUXE model.
Which model is recommended for ROLLER skating?
If you come from the world of figure skating and want to switch to QUAD (retro) wheels in the summer, then you are still a beginner in roller skating. You will first learn the basics and make your first jumps. For this you can certainly use the two softer STREET models STREET SUEDE and STREET DELUXE.
But if you are more ambitious, you should opt for the STREET XTREME , as it is more robust overall and has more lateral stability - and of course it is more durable than the other models. It is reinforced in the ankle area, softer in the ball area than an ice skating shoe and lined with leather, which is a great advantage if you spend many hours in quads in summer temperatures.
But if you want to inline skate, then we recommend our ice skating models, as they are easier to maneuver laterally thanks to the ball reinforcement. This means that, as with ice skating, lateral pressure is exerted in the swing movement, so the ball must be well reinforced. The PRIMA INTERMEDIATE , CHAMPION LIGHT models are particularly suitable for ice and roller figure skating . These models come in a wide range of widths, are heat-adjustable and have soft padding at the end of the shaft.
Which model is recommended for more ambitious JAM and RHYTHYM skaters?
Are you starting to learn more complicated moves and roller skating is becoming an everyday workout? Do you ride more edge and need a shoe with more lateral stability that isn't too hard?
The STREET SUEDE may be the softest shoe among the WIFA roller skate models, but it is still suitable for more ambitious skaters. The STREET DELUXE is 20% stronger than the STREET SUEDE because it is made of stronger nubuck leather. However, it is almost as flexible at the end of the shaft. The STREET XTREME model, on the other hand, is firmer at the top of the shaft and offers more support overall. It is about 40% harder than the STREET DELUXE.
The hybrid model CHAMPION LIGHT is about as strong as the STREET XTREME. The flex groove and construction make it ideal for those who demand everything from a shoe! The CHAMPION LIGHT offers more support than the STREET XTREME . The CHAMPION LIGHT is more flexible in the ankle area, heat-moldable, available in 4 widths and can be used for many styles or disciplines: Figure skating (all single jumps and more for adults +-60 kg) Ice dancing Park skating Roller skating - competition level Artistic inline skating - competition level Jam skating for beginners and advanced skaters
Which model is recommended for PARK skating?
If you are basically an all-rounder but want to develop your skills in the skate park, then you need a model with increased support in the ankle area. You can make your first attempts with the STREET SUEDE and STREET DELUXE, but as soon as you want to do more demanding tricks, you will need a STREET XTREME as it offers more ankle and lateral stability. In the ball area, however, it is a bit softer and therefore more stretchy than the ice skates.
If you are already ready to take part in competitions, then you will appreciate the stability of our hybrid model CHAMPION LIGHT , which is heat-adjustable and available in 4 widths. Here is a link to our test skater Lea Neuhold, who switched from STREET XTREME to CHAMPION LIGHT.

Important Care Instructions
Like all quality products, WIFA shoes deserve the best possible care. All feet sweat during training - some more than others, and although the shoes are made of breathable leather, they can become very damp inside. After training, the shoes should therefore be carefully dried inside and out. Skate bags should only be used to transport the shoes. Leather shoes should never be stored on or near radiators or in the sun! They should preferably be stored in a well-ventilated place. If the shoes are very damp, please use moisture-absorbing products such as "boots bananas" or, using the tried and tested method, simply stuff newspaper into the shoes.
Correct care of the soles
Although the soles are waxed, abrasions will develop over time, especially when "edging". These should be treated regularly with natural wax or transparent shoe balm to prevent moisture from penetrating. If the shoes have been used in wet weather or on ice with puddles of water, the soles must be dried immediately and always waxed. We advise against boat varnish, as leather needs to breathe. Special water-soluble impregnation sprays with natural components can be used as a temporary solution (Bamboo spray Collonil).
However, if mold has already formed on the surface, we recommend cleaning the areas thoroughly with a 1:1 mixture of transparent vinegar essence solution (25% acetic acid) and water. After drying, apply a generous amount of wax or balm. If the mold has already penetrated the sole, damage occurs that is often difficult to repair. This is not covered by the warranty. Please check regularly whether the runners are properly attached to the sole. Otherwise, the screws must be tightened, otherwise moisture can penetrate the leather sole and cause damage. If the screw holes are worn out, use wooden sticks to ensure that the screws grip properly again, or use the free holes in the plate to insert new screws.
